Did you know that skin remembers and accumulates sun radiation units over the years?

The results are seen not only immediately in the form of redness, burns and blisters; they appear years later in the form of freckles, age spots, wrinkles, loss of skin suppleness and even skin cancer.

Dr. Fischer understands that prior knowledge will help you reduce the risk of sun damage and will provide you with the means to protect yourself from damaging radiation.

It is important to protect yourself from the sun throughout the year, not only when you are at the beach in summer.  At all times when UV radiation can reach our Earth, we must protect ourselves from extended exposure to sunlight.

There is no doubt that it is important to use a good sunscreen, but it is also important to use your sunscreen correctly. It is a fact that many consumers are under using sunscreen products. They do not apply enough, which means they do not get the full level of protection the sunscreen can provide. Apply a generous quantity of sunscreen evenly over the body to ensure the optimal effect.

Drying with a towel after swimming may remove some of the sunscreen and reduce the level of protection.  Re-apply sunscreen after drying off with a towel.

Use a higher SPF sunscreen on more vulnerable skin such as the face and lips.

Dermatologists recommend the re-application of sunscreen at least every two hours.

Use sunscreens even on cloudy days, to protect your skin from the UV radiation that penetrates the atmosphere every day and in all weather conditions.

Dr. Fischer Ultrasol brings you with many years of experience and expertise in the development and manufacture of sunscreens that give you the highest level of protection.
